The Agency

Once you complete and submit the application form, you may be asked to complete an entrance interview. If you are accepted, here are the next steps:

1. Membership Enrollment – Confirm your spot by paying the membership fee, available in either a 3-month or 1-year option.

2. Modeling Basics Course – Complete the introductory course in the Model Home to ensure you are prepared for professional opportunities.

3. Agency Agreement – Review and sign the Pākōlea Agency Exclusive Representation Contract.

4. Admitted Model Form – Fill out the admitted models form so our team has all the necessary information to support your career.

5. Portfolio Submission – Provide a professional headshot, modeling photos, and (if applicable) a short walking video. These materials will be added to your official Pākōlea Portfolio, used for castings and client submissions.

We seek models who demonstrate:

• Professionalism & Work Ethic – Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to take direction on set and during shows.

• Confidence & Presence – A strong stage presence and comfort in front of the camera, whether on the runway or during photoshoots.

• Adaptability & Growth Mindset – Willingness to learn, improve, and embrace feedback through our Academy programs and agency opportunities.

• Versatility – Ability to work across multiple categories, including runway, editorial, commercial, swimwear, fitness, and social media collaborations.

• Cultural Pride & Representation – A commitment to carrying the aloha spirit and representing who you are with authenticity and respect.

While prior experience is helpful, it is not required to start with us—our Academy is designed to prepare and strengthen talent for agency representation. Additionally, for strong candidates, we would also be willing to accept models with less experience into the agency and require our academy for a period of time.

While the Academy is highly recommended to sharpen skills and build experience, models with prior training or strong potential may be accepted directly into the Agency. Many of our models continue participating in Academy workshops even after signing, as there is always room to grow.

Through the Agency, models gain access to professional opportunities such as runway shows, editorial and commercial campaigns, photoshoots, brand collaborations, and paid projects. Our team handles client outreach, casting submissions, and booking negotiations to ensure every opportunity aligns with each model’s strengths.

We take a full-circle approach by combining representation with development. Our Agency connects models with industry opportunities, while our Academy provides continuous training in runway, photoshoots, and professional conduct. Together, this ensures that every model is prepared, polished, and positioned for long-term career growth.

Yes. While we ask that models honor all bookings and commitments secured through Pākōlea, you are free to explore other opportunities as long as they do not conflict with your Agency obligations. Our priority is helping you succeed while maintaining professionalism and reliability with clients.

Yes. We guide models in building and maintaining a strong professional portfolio, including comp cards, digitals, and test shoots that highlight their versatility. These resources are essential for casting submissions and securing bookings.
